Step into the journey of pregnancy and parenthood with confidence. Our educational programs let you connect with other parents while you learn about pregnancy, labor, birth, breastfeeding, baby care, safety, and parenting.

Baby and me Postpartum Support Group

A support group for parents and infants from newborns to 9 months, providing discussion and support for parenting challenges.

  • Weekly: Thursdays, 10:00 a.m.–12 p.m.
  • No fee

Emotional well-being in pregnancy and postpartum support group

Are you having trouble shaking the postpartum blues? Have you been anxious or worried during your pregnancy, or with your new baby? If you’re dealing with emotional ups and downs, try our weekly support group for pregnant and postpartum women. The group is led by a clinical social worker and psychiatrist and offers support, education, and coping skills to manage stress. Infants are welcome. Members only.

Lactation consultant appointments

If you’re experiencing difficulty with breastfeeding, schedule an appointment with a lactation consultant who can address your questions and concerns. Members only.

Prenatal series: The prenatal series consists of four classes recommended for all expectant parents

Breastfeeding basics

(For participants 28–36 weeks)
Studies show that breastfeeding offers many health benefits for you and your baby. In this class, you will learn how to position your baby for optimal nursing, how to tell if your baby is getting enough milk, and ways to prevent and overcome common breastfeeding discomforts and challenges.

  • One 2-hour session
  • No fee

Preparing for childbirth

(For participants 32–36 weeks)
In this class, you will learn breathing and relaxation techniques to use during labor and delivery. We will also discuss pain management options, your birthing coach’s role, hospital procedures, and what to expect before, during, and after delivery.

  • 2-day (2-hour weeknight sessions) or 1-day (4-hours weekend session)
  • No fee

Newborn Care

(For participants 28–36 weeks)
In this class, we will teach you the information and skills you need to feel confident about caring for your newborn. We will cover essential topics such as feeding, bathing, diapering, and when to call your physician.

  • One 2–hour session
  • No fee
