Kaiser Permanente members have access to a range of gender-affirming care options within a safe, inclusive environment, supported by a skilled team of experts.

Kaiser Permanente provides medically necessary gender-affirming care services for the treatment of gender dysphoria/incongruence including, but not limited to: feminizing mammoplasty, male chest reconstruction, mastectomy, gender-affirming facial surgery, hysterectomy, oophorectomy, penectomy, orchiectomy, feminizing genitoplasty (e.g. vulvoplasty, vaginoplasty), metoidioplasty, phalloplasty, scrotoplasty, voice feminization, hormone therapy related to gender dysphoria or intersex conditions, gender-affirming gynecological care, or voice therapy related to gender dysphoria or intersex conditions.
