Where I practice
Welcome! Thank you for visiting my Web page. I hope the information provided will serve as a useful introduction to my background and clinical practice. I am a head and neck surgeon who specializes in otology and neurotology. I work primarily at the Kaiser Permanente Downey and Bellflower Medical Centers.
I attended Johns Hopkins University for my undergraduate studies; I then attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and stayed at UCLA for my residency training in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. After that I travelled to Ann Arbor, MI for a fellowship in neurotology and lateral skull base surgery at the University of Michigan. I stayed on the faculty at the University of Michigan for one year before returning to Southern California to start my practice at Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
Although I continue to practice general otolaryngology, my clinical interests are primarily in otologic and neurotologic problems such as hearing loss (including cochlear implants), recurrent ear infections, cholesteatoma, superior semicircular canal dehiscence, temporal bone tumors, and dizziness.
How I thrive
I believe balance and optimism are important for living a healthy life. I enjoy work and look forward to helping people on a regular basis. Similarly, I love spending time with my family and friends and am grateful for the incredible people in my life.
