Women’s health

Your health needs are as unique as you are. At Kaiser Permanente, your doctors and care team get to know the whole you, so we can provide the best possible support for your physical, mental, social, reproductive, and gender-related health.

Total care over your lifetime

Your health changes with your age and life experience. Whether you’re going through childhood, puberty, transition, adulthood, parenthood, menopause, or beyond, you need care that helps you prioritize your total health. So you can feel your best from one experience to the next.

Kaiser Permanente is here at every step of your journey with personalized care to help you prevent, detect, treat, and recover from any health concern you may face.

We specialize in whole-person care for everyone — regardless of your assigned sex at birth. Your care team is committed to providing a safe, inclusive environment where they can get to know the real you. Everyone at Kaiser Permanente is trained to respect your beliefs, values, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, race, ethnicity, and preferred language. Our priority is to help you get the right care so you can lead your fullest life.

Getting great care starts with trusted relationships. You can easily search our network of doctors to choose the primary care physician who will work with your care team and help you stay on track with your health. And if your needs change, you can switch doctors at any time.

You know your reproductive, sexual, and emotional health needs better than anyone. That’s why you can see ob-gyn, mental health, and addiction care specialists without a referral.1 When you need other specialty care, your care team will help connect you to the right doctor and coordinate your care so you can focus on feeling better.

At Kaiser Permanente, both you and your care team have access to your electronic health record, and everyone is looking out for you.

That means your personal doctor can consult with a dermatologist during a regular checkup, and your cardiologist might remind you to get a cervical cancer screening (Pap test). And when you choose virtual care, you get the same personalized experience. You can be confident the care team member you speak with has the full picture of you and your health.

High-quality, connected care means healthier outcomes for our members — and regular recognition for our doctors, specialists, and hospitals. Learn more about our top-rated hospitals.
