Where I practice
I am an orthopedic surgeon with Kaiser Permanente in San Diego. I primarily treat children with bone and joint problems, but I also treat various adult orthopedic conditions and fractures. My goal is to provide members with high-quality care for their orthopedic conditions so that they may continue to lead fulfilling and active lives.
I was born and raised in Southern California. I earned my undergraduate degree at USC, where I met my wife while volunteering at Los Angeles County General Hospital. My fascination with and study of medicine continued at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical school, I moved to Northern California to join the San Francisco Orthopedic Residency Program, where I had the privilege of working with exceptional surgical mentors. My family and I then moved to Toronto, Canada, for subspecialty training in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the world-famous Hospital for Sick Children before returning home to Southern California.
About my practice
I care for children and adults with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and fractures. My advanced training and expertise in caring for children includes sports injuries, neuromuscular conditions, cerebral palsy, limb length discrepancy, limb deformity, congenital deformities, developmental dysplasia of the hip, skeletal dysplasias, clubfoot, scoliosis, pediatric fractures, slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE), and pediatric bone and joint infections. I also have experience treating many general orthopedic conditions, including fractures of the upper and lower extremities, carpal tunnel syndrome, meniscal tears, and bone infections.
How I thrive
I love all outdoor activities including biking, swimming, surfing, and paddleboarding. I particularly enjoy gardening and cooking.
