Where I practice
Welcome to my page! I am happy to have the opportunity to share a little about myself.
I was born in New York City and lived in various places in the tristate area before moving to sunny California. I spent my formative years in Taiwan and New Jersey, and attended college at Rochester Institute of Technology, where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology. I returned to New Jersey for my medical education at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, then completed residency training at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA. Afterwards, I worked for Facey Medical Group in Los Angeles for 3 years as a hospitalist before moving to San Diego and joining Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
As a hospitalist, I often meet members when they are most scared or ill. It is easy to focus on only the acute problem at hand, but I believe to fully treat the person, we have to understand his or her background and barriers. This allows us to tailor the treatment and counseling for members and address not only the current admission, but also to prevent future exacerbations. If you are under my care, we will form a partnership to get you back to feeling better and being healthier.
How I thrive
To unwind, I love spending time with my husband and our energetic dog. We enjoy exploring new places and delicious foods, and could not ask for a better city than San Diego to do this! To stay active and healthy, we also rock climb and just started delving into the world of yoga.
