About me

I am originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I graduated high school and medical school in Texas. I spent most of my summers growing up in Colorado, away from the Texas heat. I became a physician because I enjoy applied biology. I decided to move to Colorado for my internship and residency in family medicine. After completing residency, I worked in public health in Boulder, Colorado. Subsequently, I worked as a country doctor with a focus on emergency medicine and hospital medicine for 15 years, primarily in Lincoln County, Colorado. I love to watch patients feel better with medical interventions.

About my practice

I chose a family medicine residency because I enjoyed the variety of patients. I was drawn to emergency medicine and subsequently, urgent care, because I like to treat acute medical issues. My communication style is open-minded and non-judgmental, but I am straight to the point. I believe that improvements in a patient’s health are a result of the combination of recommendations from medical professionals and choices made by patients. My goal is for patients to leave me feeling better and on the road to improvement from their ailment.

How I thrive

I try my best to be a healthy example for my patients. I eat healthily and exercise almost daily. My form of meditation is swimming, which I usually do 3 times per week. When I am at work, I try to focus 100 percent on my patients, and when I am with my family, I try my best to focus 100 percent on them. My favorite activity with my 2 sons and wife is bicycling in the city.

When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers.
