About me
After earning my undergraduate degree at the University of California, San Diego, I received my medical degree at the University of Southern California. That's when I left my native So-Cal and did my internship and residency at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. I am married to a doctor who works at the University of Colorado in the Genetics Department and we have two beautiful children. I like to travel, ski, ride horseback, read, garden, scuba dive and of course I like to swim; I was a part of an NCAA Championship water polo team in college. I love working for Kaiser Permanente and being an Ob/Gyn provider. It allows me to care for women throughout their lives, provide hands-on care, and be a part of childbirth, which is such a privilege.
About my practice
Some of the training I received during my residency involved special techniques and therapies to help women when they have endometriosis pain, bladder pain, pelvic floor pain, and/or pain with sex. I spend ¾ of my time as an Ob/Gyn specializing in Chronic Pelvic Pain and ¼ of my time teaching and in administration. Knowledge in many areas of medicine like chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture are required for this specialty.
I am lucky to have special physical therapists and other professionals who I work with. I am fortunate to perform complex minimally invasive endometriosis surgeries when my patients need it. I belong to numerous National and International pelvic pain societies and I thoroughly enjoy traveling to medical conferences to learn more in this ever expanding field.
How I thrive
Kaiser Permanente is great because I am able to live a balance that promotes my life, family, and health, while being able to help my patients do the same. I enjoy the outdoors and make time to exercise, be with friends and family, and travel.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
