About me
I am a quirky, Cuban-American, born and raised in Miami. Growing up, I was not only exposed to many cultures, languages, and religions, but I also have the absolute joy of being from a very diverse family. This has taught me to enjoy people because of our differences, rather than in spite of them. I love learning new languages. I grew up speaking both English and Spanish at home, then studied Sanskrit in college and Japanese while I was in medical school. My undergraduate and medical school training was in Florida, then I escaped the flatlands for the beautiful foothills and mountains of Colorado (though I still miss the beach sometimes). I completed family medicine residency between Rose Family Medicine and St. Anthony’s North.
About my practice
My style of medicine involves learning about you, your family, your culture, basically all the things that make you, you! I believe in whole person care, which takes into account all aspects of your life that might affect your health. It is especially gratifying to treat whole families because family dynamics often play a huge role in our health. My mission is to empower you to make goals for your health and through shared decision-making, we will come up with a plan to get you there. I will hold you accountable and help you reset and strategize when the inevitable speed bumps of life pop up. There are some areas that I have extra training in to give you more tools for your health toolbox: integrative medicine (especially nutrition and exercise), LGBTQ+ care (gender affirming care including hormone therapies), and women’s health (PAPs, contraception, pre-conception counseling, etc.). I know how crazy life can get, so I think it is important that you know there are multiple ways you can get in touch with me for questions. The office does take phone calls, but you can also send me messages through the patient portal at kp.org. If you have any barriers to coming in to the office, some visits can be done through phone or video visits. I look forward to partnering with you to unlock your full potential.
How I thrive
I am always seeking out experiences that will expand my understanding of fellow humans and the world, especially through food. I love to travel and would call myself an adventurous eater. My other passions include knitting, crochet, and martial arts (most recently Tae Kwondo). I love going on road trip adventures with my spouse and our pup, so let me know if there is somewhere you strongly recommend.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
