Where I practice
About me
I grew up in Dallas, Texas and Denver, and I was fortunate enough to attend University of Colorado Anschutz for medical school before moving to Boston, Massachusetts for residency. I’m grateful to return to Denver as a practicing anesthesiologist because it truly feels like home. My wife and I were drawn back due to proximity to family, access to the outdoors, and the opportunity to build a balanced, long-term life here. I became a physician because I’m grounded in the intersection of physiology, compassion, and calm decision-making during critical moments. Anesthesiology offers the chance to guide patients safely through some of their most vulnerable experiences. The most rewarding part of my work is earning patients’ trust and providing reassurance when they need it most. I come from an immigrant family, which shaped my values, taught me the importance of listening deeply, and gives me a strong appreciation for the diverse backgrounds patients bring to their care. At home, my wife and I share life with our dachshund, Zucchini, who adds plenty of joy to our days.
About my practice
My philosophy of care revolves around respect for all people, meeting patients where they are, and creating a calm, safe environment during moments that can feel overwhelming. I believe in clear communication, teamwork, and evidence-based practice, and I approach every anesthetic with the mindset that each patient deserves the highest quality of care. I strive to treat every individual with the same level of care and attentiveness I would want for my own family.
How I thrive
I thrive through a balance of staying active outdoors, maintaining meaningful relationships, and carving out time for self-care. Regular exercise, time with my wife and our dog, and exploring Colorado’s mountains are some of my favorite activities.
