Where I practice
About me
I was born and raised in Boulder and am honored to practice medicine in the region where I grew up. I completed my medical education at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. After that, I returned to Colorado to pursue my residency training at the University of Colorado, eager to get back to my home state. Outside of my clinical practice, I have a deep appreciation for the Colorado outdoors. I enjoy biking, running, skiing, and camping, particularly with my wife, children, and golden retriever. This connection to Colorado and to an active, balanced lifestyle, informs my patient-centered approach to medicine, one that values overall well-being alongside clinical excellence.
About my practice
My practice encompasses the full breadth of adult urology, providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide range of urologic conditions. I have particular clinical interests in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP); urologic oncology; robotic surgery; genitourinary reconstruction; urinary incontinence; and the treatment and prevention of kidney stones. I am committed to offering my patients access to the most advanced, minimally invasive techniques available, paired with thoughtful, individualized care throughout every stage of treatment.
How I thrive
Outside of medicine, I try to spend as much time as possible in the Colorado outdoors. Whether I am biking, going for a run, skiing in the winter, or camping under the stars, these pursuits keep me grounded and energized. I am also a fan of live music, especially catching shows at Red Rocks, and enjoy both discovering new restaurants and returning to my favorite local spots around town. I also attempt to have a vegetable garden with mixed results. Most importantly, I cherish the time I get to spend on all of these adventures with my wife, children, and dog by my side. It is where I feel most at home.

- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
