About me
I grew up in Michigan and completed both my medical degree and residency in internal medicine at the University of Michigan. From there, I practiced as a hospitalist for a few years at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. It was good to go from a small town background to the big city and expand my horizons accordingly. I moved to Colorado in 2010. I transitioned from hospital care to primary care with my goal to stay with Kaiser Permanente and get to know my patients over time. I feel Kaiser Permanente has a robust system in place to deliver comprehensive and efficient medical care to patients. My practice focuses on patients age 65 and older.
About my practice
Due to my training in internal medicine, my care focus is on patients who are 65 years and older, or who have multiple chronic medical conditions. I believe that exercise, sleep and a healthy diet will always be the best medicines.
How I thrive
In my free time, I am usually found outdoors running, biking, skiing or walking my dog. The Colorado sunshine and mountains are wonderful. I am also fortunate to visit my family and friends who live all over the great United States.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.
Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
