About me
I majored in biomedical and electrical engineering and developed a fascination with the integration of technology and medicine. I became a physician to use those skills to connect with and help people. I moved to Colorado in 2002 and fell in love with the people and lifestyle. I was fortunate to discover the field of interventional radiology, where I can perform minimally invasive procedures that help people with lower risks and faster recovery than traditional surgery. I ran the University of Colorado interventional radiology fellowship program for 5 years and helped to train future physicians in this amazing field. I completed a second fellowship in neurointerventional radiology and learned advanced techniques to treat complex brain and spinal disorders in 2012. I practiced both interventional radiology and neurointerventional radiology for several years prior to joining Kaiser Permanente in 2015. I enjoy using skills that I learned in neurointerventional radiology to improve my ability to treat many different disorders. I enjoy building new programs and working to improve existing ones.
About my practice
I believe that all people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I treat my patients as I want my family to be treated. I use skills from my neurointerventional radiology training to provide unique treatments in many areas and use advanced imaging and technology to improve the safety of my interventions. Coming from an academic background, I stay up to date on medical literature and use technology to its maximum potential to achieve the best outcomes for each patient. I have particular interests in treatment of cancer, cerebrovascular disorders, portal hypertension, vascular malformations, and arterial interventions. Our Interventional Radiology team provides services to patients of all ages across all specialties. I have treated patients of all ages from newborns to the elderly.
How I thrive
I thrive with a balance of work and play. I enjoy an engaging work environment with an outstanding department and partners, which leaves me time to enjoy my family, travel, and engage in the Colorado outdoor lifestyle.

- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
