About me

I am a board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to providing thoughtful, evidence based care with a strong emphasis on listening to my patients and understanding their individual health goals. I chose gastroenterology because it blends diagnostic problem solving with the opportunity to build long term relationships, allowing me to guide patients through both complex and chronic digestive conditions. I aim to create a welcoming, collaborative environment where patients feel informed, supported, and genuinely cared for.

I completed my medical degree at Touro University in Nevada, followed by an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. I then completed my gastroenterology fellowship at St. John Oakland Hospital, where I received comprehensive training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, and colorectal cancer prevention. My training shaped my commitment to delivering patient centered, evidence driven care.

Before joining Kaiser Permanente, I practiced gastroenterology at Tricounty Gastroenterology in Michigan, where I cared for a diverse patient population and gained extensive experience in both outpatient and procedural gastroenterology. After moving to Denver, I worked at Peak Gastroenterology in the South Denver area, which further strengthened my clinical skills and broadened my experience managing a wide range of digestive disorders.

About my practice

I care for a full spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions, including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disorders, acid related conditions, colorectal cancer prevention, and functional bowel disorders. I value clear communication and shared decision making, and I work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high quality care. Whether performing procedures or discussing management options in the clinic, my goal is always to make patients feel respected, heard, and supported.

How I thrive

I thrive by maintaining balance in my personal and professional life. I enjoy staying active through Peloton workouts, spending time outdoors, hiking, and relaxing with a good novel. I also love traveling, exploring new cultures and experiences, and unwinding with my family and my dog, who always bring joy and energy to my day. These activities keep me grounded, engaged, and able to bring my best self to my patients.

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente Colorado attempts to ensure the online directory contains up-to-date information. The printed directory is current as of the date of publication.

Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:

  • Size and demographics of the population to be served
  • The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
  • Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
  • Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references

You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.

An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
