About me

I've been around doctors all my life. My father and mother run a small hospital in Nigeria where I was born. That early exposure to medicine was probably what influenced my decision to be a doctor, as well as some of my siblings, who are doctors, too. I trained at the University of Jos in the northern part of Nigeria. I worked in clinical research in Southern California and completed residency in Midland, Michigan. I'm married and we have three children. We chose to settle in Colorado because it was the middle ground between the cold Midwest and hot Southern California. I truly love the outdoors, the perpetual sun and the friendliness of the people of Colorado.

About my practice

Meeting a new doctor can be nerve-racking, especially if you have been with your former doctor or not had care for a long time. I promise to support you through this transition by listening and partnering with you to make it as seamless as I can. I am excited to meet you, and my patients are the reason I show up every day. My practice style is to treat the whole patient. Don't be surprised if you come in for a cold and I ask about your day or mood. I'm a family physician and you are part of that family. I have a special interest in skin and women's health, but I have a lot of men and children in my practice as well. I'm currently learning about alternative medicine, mainly from my patients who, by the way, I enjoy learning from if they have time to teach me. I work as a team with support staff, clinical pharmacists and nurses. This gives us flexibility and a better response time in providing care to our patients.

How I thrive

In my spare time I listen to gospel music, learn musical instruments (not good at any yet), read scripture and cook. And did I forget to mention vegging out on my couch and watching TV? Most of my volunteer work is spent doing ministry, speaking at out-of-state conferences, writing devotionals for websites, and conducting health missions in Africa. I intermittently work as the minority representative for Colorado at the National Conference of Constituency Leaders (NCCL) of the American Academy of Family Physicians. This is an evolving interest and a soft step into politics and advocacy.

To find:

  • Kaiser Permanente medical office providers’ hours, search our facility directory
  • Affiliated providers’ office hours or languages spoken by front office staff, call their office directly
  • Providers in your plan or accepting new patients, call 1-303-338-4545 or 1-800-218-1059 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente Colorado attempts to ensure the online directory contains up-to-date information. The printed directory is current as of the date of publication.

To report any inaccuracies in the directory or to file a complaint regarding your experience with a provider, contact Member Services at 1-800-632-9700 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., or visit kp.org/memberservices.

Medicare Members: To request a hard copy of Kaiser Permanente’s provider directory, please call our Member Services department at 1-800-476-2167, seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Kaiser Permanente will mail a hard copy of the provider directory to you within three (3) business days of your request. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:

  • Size and demographics of the population to be served
  • The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
  • Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
  • Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references

You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.

An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
