About me
I am from Louisiana and have known since medical school that I wanted to be involved in caring for people experiencing serious illness. I completed residency and a fellowship in palliative medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente immediately following fellowship because I had heard about its outstanding Supportive Care program, and admired the physicians, nurses, social workers and chaplains I was going to get to work alongside. I've been at Kaiser Permanente since 2007, and hope I can spend the rest of my career here! In my first three years, I saw patients in their homes, which was an amazing experience that helped me better understand the challenges people face when going through a serious illness. Now, I see patients at the Franklin Supportive Care clinic. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga, cooking and spending time outdoors with my family.
About my practice
In our Supportive Care clinic, we work as a team of doctors, nurses and social workers – since we know that illness impacts all parts of a patient's life, not just your physical being. We get to know you and your family and try to offer support that honors who you are as a person, focusing on what is most concerning to you. My specialty is focused on pain and symptom management, and I strive to match my recommendations with your lifestyle and goals. I listen to understand your situation as best as possible, and then frame my suggestions around what is most meaningful to you.
How I thrive
I love cooking and volunteer at my church to cook dinners every few months. I especially enjoy cooking healthy dinners for my family as well as baking bread and desserts for special occasions. My husband and I enjoy doing yoga, and we like to ski together as a family. I have two daughters and a cat and dog at home, all of whom keep us active and busy.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served

- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
