Where I practice
About me
I was born and raised in Northern Virginia, completing my undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Virginia. Early in my education, I desired to learn more than just biology. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology which investigated the intersection between the humanities and biology. During medical school, I completed the Edward W. Hook Scholars Program in Humanities and Ethics which interwove humanities, ethics, and the arts throughout all 4 years of medical education.
I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University and completed fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I then decided to move west to Colorado to be closer to my family who took the plunge to move here a couple of years before me. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because I feel this system cares about the person as a whole and not just about their biology. Being an integrated healthcare system allows various specialties to work together to take care of the whole person, instead of siloed taking care of only small parts. It is my honor to take care of each woman who seeks my care and I am excited to get her back to a life she sees herself living.
About my practice
As a Urogynecologist, I treat pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence. These disorders have immense negative impact on women’s lives and often can be debilitating. And so, the most beautiful part of my job is restoring quality of life to women, whether that be returning to their favorite hike or attending their grandchild’s graduation or traveling around the world without fear. Every woman is unique in their goals and desires, and every day I enjoy learning about those unique goals and desires so that I can better tailor the treatments of pelvic floor disorders to each woman.
How I thrive
When I am not treating women with pelvic floor disorders, spending time with my family and friends fills my cup. My husband, daughter, and I enjoy hosting dinner parties (him usually the culinary visionary, I usually the sous, and my daughter the taste tester), exploring all the hiking and skiing trails of the Colorado mountains, and cozying up with our favorite new book.

- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
