About me
I am proud to live in this beautiful state of Colorado, having been here since 2011. I was born in Cambodia, and my family was fortunate enough to immigrate to the U.S. when I was only 2 years old. I have previously lived in California, Arizona, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York. My love for the outdoors drew me to the Rocky Mountains. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our children exploring the changing faces of these majestic mountains during the different seasons. I chose the field of orthopedic surgery when I was in elementary school. I had to write a report about my culture and background. In my research, I learned about the achievements of an orthopedic surgeon who worked abroad in Cambodia and I was inspired to become an orthopedic surgeon as well. Decades later, I find myself fulfilling that dream. I had no idea that my 10-year-old self knew me so well.
About my practice
Working for Kaiser Permanente has allowed me to balance my roles as a surgeon, wife, mother, daughter, sister and lover of the outdoors. When treating patients, I take this into consideration. My patients, like me, are not only "patients," but have multiple roles in their own lives. I try to work with you to develop a treatment plan that allows you to fulfill all of those roles to the best of your ability. I am reminded daily by my patients, who are coming to me from varying walks of life, that we all have our struggles, our good days and our bad days. I try to understand your stories, hear your hurt, and work as a team with you to formulate a plan that works for you, whether that be through nonsurgical or surgical measures. I treat patients of all ages and my subspecialty is hand surgery.
How I thrive
I thrive by staying balanced. I have a wonderful support system of family, friends and colleagues. As a mother of young children and an orthopedic surgeon with a busy practice, my life is at times organized, beautiful chaos. I wouldn't have it any other way, and this constant motion is what makes me thrive.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
