About me
I was born and raised in a small community in Northern California. I completed my undergraduate at University of California, Davis and then took 2 years off to live with my recently widowed grandmother and figure out what I wanted to do with my life! I spent most of that time falling in love with medicine working for an ob/gyn and decided that medical school was for me! I completed my medical degree at Des Moines University in Iowa and then specialized in anesthesiology at Loma Linda University. I absolutely love anesthesia and feel fortunate that I have found a career that brings me happiness. My family and I settled into the Denver area, and we are all thrilled to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family and be able to serve the community in such a patient centered way.
About my practice
I feel so fortunate to have found my career calling and anesthesia truly brings me joy. I thrive from conversations with patients and addressing any concerns you may have about anesthesia, including common misbeliefs and fears. I believe you need to be comfortable throughout the entire process and I welcome your questions and input. My primary goal is providing a good experience for you or your loved one and keeping you safe.
How I thrive
I love spending time with my family, being adventurous with new cooking recipes, spending time outdoors and reading. I always welcome a good conversation and am open to different perspectives. Overall, I try to find balance in my family, my health and my career. Like most, I am a work in progress!

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
