Where I practice
About me
I am originally from Columbia, Missouri, by way of St. Louis. My career has spanned emergency care, primary care, and wound care, fueled by a deep passion for sports medicine. I completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Medicine at the University of Bath in England and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia Family Practice program after earning a degree in Microbiology. One of my proudest athletic achievements was completing the Ironman Hawaii as a second-year family practice resident—finishing 17th out of the water despite never having swum in the ocean before! I am a lifelong Cardinals baseball fan and enjoy running, kayaking, swimming, Pilates, and all things outdoors.
About my practice
I view medicine as a partnership - working together to create the best version of yourself, whether you are 4 or 94. I love caring for patients of all ages, with a special interest in sports-related concerns, from running shoe discomfort to bike seat adjustments. My goal is to help you plan for the next decade while considering your family history and lifestyle choices, focusing on weight, diet, and exercise. Think of me as your coach and you as the Olympian and we will work together to make a great team. I am comfortable managing complex conditions and believe that some cases require a quarterback to coordinate care with specialists, and I strive to be that person for you. I treat others as I wish to be treated and look forward to meeting you and your family.
How I thrive
First and foremost, I am a mom, and I understand the challenges of balancing self-care with family responsibilities. I prioritize daily reflection, exercise, and mindful eating - though I never turn down a good pumpkin pie or chocolate chip cookie! I am the proud mother of an adult daughter, and my home is my sanctuary, shared with my beloved golden retriever, Zara. Having managed an Emergency Department for most of my career in a college town, I know that life is unpredictable, and I hope to earn your trust and confidence.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served

- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
