About me
By birth I am midwestern from Ohio, but by choice I am Coloradan. Together with my husband, an interventional radiologist, and our 3 young children, we are blessed to live, practice and play in this beautiful state. We love to spend our free time outdoors and with friends, hiking, biking or chasing our children around town. It is the relationships formed in life which make life rich. The relationships I am able to form with my patients and their families drive my practice of anesthesia. Allaying fear and anxiety and alleviating pain in a safe, comforting fashion has been the most rewarding aspect of my career. I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022 and was also honored there in 2019.
About my practice
Anesthesiology is the intersection of pharmacology and physiology, but in practice it is much more. Tailoring each anesthetic to the requirements and special considerations of each patient makes my practice continually interesting. This desire to personalize perioperative care drove me to pursue fellowship training in pediatric anesthesia. To care for patients at the beginning of life through those in their advanced years, my practice can flex to provide gentle, safe, compassionate care to all under the umbrella of life. It is a true honor and privilege to care for you during the emotionally and physically stressful perioperative period. I will respect your decision-making and will dedicate myself to provide safe and excellent care.
How I thrive
Outside of the hospital, I find true enjoyment spending time with my husband and children and our wonderful friends in the Denver metro area. Together, we love to travel and explore nature. Personally, I enjoy running and baking, especially with my children. Their favorites are usually chocolate chip cookies, banana bread muffins and cupcakes. Children's charities and health missions have always been a passion of mine. I have traveled on medical missions to Haiti, Cambodia and Ghana.

- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
