About me

I grew up in southern Wisconsin/northern Illinois and completed my undergraduate and graduate studies at Illinois State University. After attending medical school in Kansas City, MO, I completed my residency in Milwaukee, WI through the University of Wisconsin.

Having been in practice in Colorado for the larger part of the last 22 years (with exception of 2 years in Missoula, MT) I have become very comfortable with all aspects of surgical Obstetrics and Gynecology including high risk Obstetrics and complex medical gynecology.

The best part of my practice over the years has been being able to watch families grow and making significant impacts on my patient's lives. It is truly a privilege and a pleasure to care for my patients.

About my practice

While completing my undergraduate and graduate education at Illinois State University, I developed a passion for taking care of people. This was realized by attending medical school in Kansas City, MO and continuing this calling over the last 20 plus years.

Communicating with my patients as we identifying their healthcare goals is very fulfilling. Once a plan of care is determined with my patients, implementing the plan allows us to realize the goals that are set with my patients.

How I thrive

I thrive in the kitchen and surrounded by my family. I love creating memories at the table. Additionally, I thrive in the outdoors enjoying all the things that Colorado has to offer; from hiking in the Maroon Bells Wilderness, to skiing in Steamboat, cycling the trails/roads around my home, and fly fishing the Cache la Poudre/Yampa rivers.

I have always been a distance runner having completed several half marathons, 2 full marathons, countless 5K/10k races, and participating in relays across the state of Colorado.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:

  • Size and demographics of the population to be served
  • The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
  • Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
  • Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references

You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.

An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
