Where I practice
About me
I love cats and my favorite activity is eating tasty food. The most important thing in my life is my relationships with family and friends. I grew up in Michigan and spent most of my life in the metro Detroit area. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, and then I took 4 years between undergraduate and medical school to decide my career path. I spent 2 years in cancer biology research at Karmanos Cancer Institute and then completed my master’s in biomedical science at Wayne State University. I completed medical school there, serving as class president for 4 years, and then did my residency in North Carolina at Wake Forest Baptist Health before moving to Denver with my husband in 2022. I love the sunshine and being active, but I am what my husband refers to as petite nature. I like to think this means I can enjoyably hike or snowboard (not well) for half the day, and then you can find me hanging out in the kitchen or enjoying a book.
About my practice
My philosophy of providing care is that we are humans first and patients second. I want to understand your goals and priorities so that we can consider and understand your treatment options in the context of YOUR life. Lifestyle practices are nonnegotiable for health; appropriate medication use, and patient education are also irreplaceable pillars. In some cases, we can diagnose and treat an acute problem in one visit, but, more often, we use the term “healthcare journey” for a reason. I like to spend time with you considering what that journey might look like. I’m going to help guide you each step of the way, and it’s a journey we’re on together. I usually start with our least invasive options and move up from there gradually, if we need to. I can’t take action for you, but I will help empower you to make the best decisions for yourself.
As a family medicine doctor, I treat all ages and stages - from kiddos, to pregnant ladies, to young adults, to end of life care. In my position at Kaiser Permanente, I do not have a panel of patients. I help patients get in sooner when they cannot see their own PCP, and I often follow-up with you if needed before handing off care back to your doctor.
Like most family physicians, I’m passionate about preventative care and control of chronic conditions. My additional areas of focus include procedures, wound care, and mental health. I practice joint injections, skin procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, abscess drainage, suturing), birth control implants, and toenail removals. My procedural training and experience mean we can often avoid extra visits to a specialist and complete more in primary care!
How I thrive
My top values are authenticity, adventure, and collaboration. I think everyone has an internal compass, and the more I hone my ability to follow mine, the more peace and fulfillment I have in my personal life and in my work. Surrounding myself with a network of great people who support me being my authentic self but who also help me grow and consider other perspectives is invaluable. Everything that I’ve accomplished is a testament to the support I’ve had from those around me.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served

- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
