About me
I am a native of Denver, Colorado and love our beautiful weather, sunny skies and outdoor activities. In addition to being a native, I also completed my education in Colorado. I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Colorado at Denver, where I decided to pursue a career in medicine. I then went on to complete my medical school training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine where I solidified my passion in mental health. After medical school, I stayed with the University of Colorado and completed a residency training program in psychiatry. I have been practicing with Kaiser Permanente as an adult psychiatrist since completing my training in 2010. I was honored as a 5280 Magazine “Top Doctor” in psychiatry in 2013 and was recently recognized by Colorado Permanente Medical Group for receiving excellent patient satisfaction scores.
About my practice
I do my best to work alongside my patients in making collaborative care decisions. I am a general adult psychiatrist who specializes in medication management and mental health evaluations. I do not provide therapy services, however I work closely with our therapists to coordinate patient care. I am trained to evaluate and treat the full spectrum of adult mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and many others. I strongly believe that one’s mental health and wellness is fundamental to one’s overall well-being and strive to work with my patients to best accomplish this. Making choices around living healthy can have positive effects on mental health and wellness in addition to the medication choices we make to help treat mental health conditions.
How I thrive
I thrive by always trying to live in the moment at work and with my family, my children and my dog. I love to be outside – hiking, climbing and running. I strongly believe in the power of exercise and nutrition on a person’s overall health and well-being.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served

- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
