Where I practice
About me
I grew up in Southern California and attended Cal State University Northridge with the intention to pursue physical education. In the process of doing that I became interested in Exercise Physiology which grew into a greater interest in pathophysiology and eventually medicine. My initial interests were primarily with the scientific aspects of medicine but I later found that I greatly enjoyed the personal interaction with patients which is now what motivates me to come to the office daily. It is more important to know about the individual then what disease he may have. I attempt to maintain balance in my life through spending as much time as possible with my wife and two daughters and keep fit through cycling to work and home - weather permitting.
About my practice
I am a physiatrist specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. My primary focus as the only physiatrist in this group is on rehabilitation. I am also board certified in spinal cord injury medicine but also see strokes, traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions. In addition, I have specialty clinics for bracing, amputees and wheelchair or seating.
How I thrive
As mentioned, I keep fit by cycling to work and back. I attempt to make the work place as much fun as possible. If we are going to be here all day why not enjoy it? I also enjoy traveling as much as possible when not at work. There is still a lot to see right here in Colorado. On the weekends I enjoy reading and love to cook for my family and friends.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
