About me
I was born and raised in West Texas and did my undergraduate studies in Psychology and Spanish at the University of Texas in Austin, TX. I studied abroad in Argentina during that time and became fluent in Spanish which was one of my life goals. I completed medical school, residency, and fellowship training at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, TX. I decided to move to Colorado after my training to have the opportunity to live outside Texas and have easy access to outdoor beauty.
About my practice
I chose Pulmonary and Critical Care as a subspeciality due to the complexity and variety of pulmonary medicine as well as the rigorous environment of the intensive care unit. I believe that being able to take care of the sickest patients in the hospital is a supreme privilege. My areas of expertise and interests include Pulmonary Embolism, ARDS, and post cardiac arrest care in the intensive care unit. I also pride myself in being able to care for Spanish speaking patients and wish to be able to provide care for those who are most in need medicaly and/or indigent.
I see primarily adults (age > 18 years) and my passion is post-pulmonary embolism care. I hope to see all of those patients when applicable in my clinic; I do however have training in all subsets of pulmonary disease such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, etc.
How I thrive
With regards to hobbies, I love being outdoors, walking my dog, and working out. Being active is a huge passion of mine and includes trail running, Crossfit, and yoga. I also love to read non-medical fiction and enjoy live music events.

When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
