About me
As a Denver native, I am delighted to be practicing in Colorado. I am also thrilled to be part of a team that provides exceptional care to the smallest, most fragile patients. I knew I wanted to be a physician from a very young age as I was inspired by my younger sister who had many health problems. My goal was to help people who had health challenges, especially children. General pediatrics was my primary area of interest until I had the opportunity to spend time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Almost instantly, I knew I wanted to specialize and to dedicate my career to the care of fragile newborns and their families. Caring for babies is a particularly rewarding experience because babies are very resilient and can make remarkable recoveries even when very ill. Some of my sickest patients will survive to lead long, healthy lives! I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022.
About my practice
My job is to provide the best medical care possible for sick and premature babies after birth. I am fortunate to work with an amazing team who shares this important goal. We strive to practice the best evidence-based care possible. Even more importantly, we recognize the care the family needs during this stressful and trying time as well. Having a new baby in the family is a life-changing experience; families can feel devastated when that baby has health problems. I believe that part of caring for the baby in the best way possible includes taking excellent care of the family. Parents are our partners in making your baby well. I try to explain what is happening with your baby to make sure you feel fully informed.
How I thrive
My biggest joy outside of work is spending time with my family and children. I devote a lot of time to my children, supporting their busy lives. I truly cherish the time I spend with them and love watching them mature and grow.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served

- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
