About me
I went to medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. I came to the University of Colorado for my fellowship in neonatology. I was drawn here by the mountains and the sunshine, and I never looked back. My family and I love to ski. Working at Kaiser Permanente allows a perfect work and life balance for me.
About my practice
I am a neonatologist. Along with my team, I help to take care of sick newborns in the intensive care unit. I chose neonatology because I love hospital-based medicine. I like the quick thinking that intensive care medicine requires. What I love the most about my specialty though is that we have the knowledge and tools to make babies well. Having a sick newborn is a very stressful time for families. I will pay special attention to your concerns and needs. Together we will develop a plan to provide the best care for your baby. My primary goal is to combine the knowledge I have gained through my years of training and practice with good communication with families. We will be partners in the care of your baby.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy participating in community projects that promote the health and welfare of moms and babies. For the last several years I have participated in the March of Dimes Walk, which raises money for research to end premature birth. I've also participated in other races to fund research for Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome and to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The races are fulfilling and even more so now that my children have begun to share these experiences with me.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
