About me
I am a Colorado native and grew up on the west side of Colorado Springs. In 1987, I moved to Greeley to attend college at the University of Northern Colorado. I graduated in 1991 with a bachelor of science in nursing and focused my nursing care in oncology. In 2007, I decided to return to school and graduated from the Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs as an adult nurse practitioner with a master of science in nursing. I was certified as an adult nurse practitioner through AANP in 2010 and obtained an advanced oncology certification through ONS in 2011. I worked as an adult oncology nurse practitioner from 2010 through 2013 before coming to Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
In 2012, I decided to change my area of practice to primary care. I continue to have a special interest in oncology care as I have spent 20 years of my professional nursing career in medical oncology. I believe in a team based approach to provide optimal care to the patients I see. I believe in open communication with a focus on education with each patient encounter. I see adults only as an adult nurse practitioner.
How I thrive
I am married and have two young children. My hobbies include spending time with my family, and exercising through running, swimming and Cross Fit.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
