About me

Originally from Michigan, with a decade-long detour through Indiana, I graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed my obstetrics-gynecology (ob-gyn) residency at the University of Michigan. Prior to clinical medicine, I began my career in pharmaceutical research and development. This expanded my passion for evidence-based medicine. Ultimately, my desire for direct patient connections and individualized care led me to pursue ob-gyn.

Following my training, my family and I made the easy decision to move to Colorado, where we can enjoy being close to family and friends. Between the active lifestyle and mountain landscapes, it is the perfect place for my husband, young son and very energetic golden retriever to call home.

About my practice

I chose obstetrics-gynecology because it allows me to provide compassionate care during some of life’s biggest changes and most vulnerable moments. Women’s health has often been overlooked or minimized in medicine, and I am dedicated to providing a warm, nonjudgmental, and evidence-based environment for my patients.

Many gynecologic and obstetric experiences can carry anxiety or big emotions. Whether you are having your first pap smear, navigating a complex labor and delivery, or making challenging family planning decisions, I aim to make these conversations and experiences as transparent and comfortable as possible. Above all, my goal is to ensure that my office, the operating room, and the delivery room always serve as a physically and emotionally safe place for my patients.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I recharge through quality time with my family, staying active, and diving into creative hobbies. I’m almost always working on something with my hands, whether it’s knitting, crocheting, or cross-stitching. I love challenging myself with new patterns, including an annual tradition of knitted family holiday sweaters. When I’m not crafting, you can find me reading, training for a running race, or cooking elaborate meals in the kitchen with my husband and son.

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente may ask whether your request for a hard copy is a one-time request or if you are requesting to receive the provider directory in hard copy permanently.

If you request it, your request for hard copies of the provider directory remains until you leave Kaiser Permanente or request that hard copies be discontinued.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:

  • Size and demographics of the population to be served
  • The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
  • Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
  • Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references

You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.

An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
