About me
I grew up in Northern California and always wanted to follow in my parents’ footsteps by going into the field of medicine. After completing medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine, I did my residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. I developed a passion for the field of urogynecology and went on to a fellowship program in pelvic surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. I then completed a fellowship program in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Mount Auburn Hospital in Boston. During my residency training, I became familiar with the Kaiser Permanente model of integrated health care delivery and realized that I wanted to practice medicine only in such a system. This was the primary reason that I moved my family to Colorado to join Kaiser Permanente in 2011. I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022 and was also honored there in 2019 and 2020.
About my practice
Urogynecology is a wonderfully rewarding field. The conditions that we treat, such as urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, can have a profound effect on a patient’s quality of life. I get great fulfillment from knowing that treating these conditions can also impact broader issues, ranging from frustration and embarrassment to depression and social isolation. We understand that these symptoms are often difficult for patients to discuss with their care providers, so we are careful to give you our full attention and understanding. Our team believes in tailoring each therapy to the individual needs of our patients by offering a wide range of surgical and non-surgical treatment options. I have a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery, including vaginal surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and robotic da Vinci surgery. I work as a team with our primary care providers, urologists, colorectal surgeons, physical therapists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care. Most of our patients are referred to us by either their primary care or ob-gyn provider.
How I thrive
I start each day with a run or a swim. On weekends, I love spending time with my family. My 2 rambunctious boys really keep me on my toes. When I am not busy with my kids’ sporting events, I try to get out to the mountains to hike and camp in the summer and snowboard in the winter.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
