Where I practice
I am excited to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente team. I completed medical school and residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and a combined musculoskeletal fellowship at UAB and the Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. The latter is one of the highest volume sports medicine practices in the country and is well-known for treating collegiate and professional athletes. I joined Kaiser Permanente because my career satisfaction is derived from providing the best medical care to our patients and I wanted to work for a patient-centered health care provider.
About my practice
I am a musculoskeletal radiologist who specializes in interpreting orthopedic imaging, which includes disorders of the bones, joints and associated soft tissues using a wide variety of modalities. Musculoskeletal radiology is my passion, and I have the privilege of interpreting cases across all diagnostic modalities including radiography, CT, MRI and musculoskeletal ultrasound. I have a particular interest in diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound, which also allows me the opportunity to see our patients in person and treat them with ultrasound-guided injections/aspirations. I enjoy learning about my patients and seek to understand your questions and concerns. I offer convenience when it comes to procedures and can answer some of your questions by email, phone or video visit.
How I thrive
When I am not working, I love being with my family and spending time with our two young children. We enjoy traveling and living life outside!
