Where I practice
I spent my early years in Pittsburgh and subsequently moved to Denver for the remainder of my childhood. I received my undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, where I graduated summa cum laude. I later attended medical school at the University of Colorado and graduated with honors. I completed my pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Colorado in 2006. I then practiced general pediatrics for nearly four years at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. I later returned to Colorado and worked for Children's Hospital Colorado in urgent and emergency medicine for two years and then in private practice for five years before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2018. I am a board-certified pediatrician and a lifetime member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. I enjoy teaching future pediatricians as an assistant clinical professor at Children's Hospital Colorado.
About my practice
My professional philosophy centers around being a consultant for parents to help guide their children so they can reach their fullest potential. I am a strong advocate for children and chose pediatrics as my specialty because children bring me joy. My goal is to treat others as I would want to be treated and to care for my patients as if they were my own children. I strive to incorporate both parents and their children in the decision making process and encourage a team approach to care.
How I thrive
I have been married to my husband since 2000 and we have two children. I enjoy spending time with my family, yoga and travel. I also thrive by cooking and eating a plant-based diet.
