About me
I was born in rural Nebraska and lived there until the age of 12 when my family moved to Colorado. Knowing that I wanted a career in the medical field, I explored all my options when I was in high school before deciding on a major in nursing. After completing my Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Northern Colorado, I worked as an intensive care unit nurse at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver for five years. The expanded role & responsibilities of a nurse practitioner had always appealed to me leading me to complete my Master of Science in nursing at the University of Colorado. After graduation, I came to work for Kaiser Permanente Colorado and I’ve been here ever since! I have enjoyed growing professionally in this dynamic organization, first in internal medicine and now in OB/GYN. I’m happily married and have two wonderful teenaged daughters.
About my practice
In my practice as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner, I see female patients in a variety of life stages. I enjoy helping patients navigate through the challenges of puberty, childbearing, menopause and beyond. I have a special interest in contraception and caring for women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). I believe my role is that of a partner whose primary job is to give information and then to support patients in their decision making. My practice style is warm and friendly with the goal of making visits to the OB/GYN department as comfortable as possible.
How I thrive
I thrive by balancing work and time away from work. I love spending time with my husband, daughters and extended family who live in the area. I also enjoy walking for exercise and traveling whenever I get the opportunity.

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente of Colorado attempts to ensure the online directory contains up-to-date information. However, providers are responsible for notifying kp.org of any changes to their information, and untimely communication may result in outdated provider information appearing on the website. Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.
Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.
Information about a practitioner is provided to us by the practitioner or the practitioner's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.

Referrals to affiliated/contracted physicians/providers in Denver/Boulder
Affiliated/contracted physicians/providers are not part of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). They are physicians/providers who have a contract with the CPMG.
If your CPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from CPMG, he or she will refer you to an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
You must have a written referral to the affiliated/contracted physician/provider in order for Kaiser Permanente Colorado to cover the services. A referral is a written authorization from Kaiser Permanente for you to receive a covered service from an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
