Kaiser Permanente provider
My gender: Male
Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I was born in Denver but moved to Florida at the age of 8, where I lived for the next 21 years. I graduated from medical school at the University of Florida in 2006 and subsequently went on to complete my internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado. Following residency, I braved the cold Minnesota winters during fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, and returned “home” to Colorado and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2012. I chose to practice in the field of Hematology/Oncology because it is an honor and a privilege to care for such amazing and brave patients during the very difficult journey of cancer.
My areas of focus are gastrointestinal, prostate, bladder, kidney, hematologic, melanoma, breast, lung, brain, and colorectal malignancies, and benign hematology. I strive to provide the information and care that will empower my patients to make the best choices for their needs. Our department of Oncology/Hematology treats both benign and malignant hematologic conditions as well as solid tumors. We are committed to providing compassionate, outstanding care to all of our patients, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team with several other services such as Surgery and Radiation Oncology.
When I am not taking care of patients, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My wife and I have a wonderful son, and we are fortunate to have several family members who live in Colorado as well. I love participating in several outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, biking, golf and intramural/club sports. I enjoy watching several sports but especially football (Go Gators and Broncos!). Other favorite pastimes include traveling, watching movies and playing the drums.
