About me

Although we've previously lived in Arizona, Wyoming and Hawaii, Denver is home. I'm from Littleton and went to Chatfield High School. I'm married with 3 children. I like to hike, jog, ski, SCUBA and play basketball, tennis and guitar. I'm really happy to be a physician with Kaiser Permanente. I enjoy coming to work at the Urgent Care every day because I get to work with great colleagues, meet interesting new patients and help them to feel healthy and well with all of the resources that Kaiser Permanente provides.

About my practice

I try my best to combine the science and the art of medicine. I utilize the best of modern medical practice and national guidelines, and I combine that with the amazing healing powers that are intrinsic in a patient's body and mind. I believe that kindness and compassion are essential aspects to any healing encounter, and that every human being deserves my unconditional respect and my very best efforts. I know that being sick or injured is often scary and overwhelming because I've been there myself. I will always do my best to provide excellent, evidence-based, holistic medical care, as well as kindness, comfort and clear communication.

How I thrive

I thrive by trying to maintain balance in my home and work life. I try to exercise regularly, eat healthily, spend time with my family and pursue outside interests. This helps me to remain energized and engaged when I'm at work.

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente of Colorado attempts to ensure the online directory contains up-to-date information. However, providers are responsible for notifying kp.org of any changes to their information, and untimely communication may result in outdated provider information appearing on the website. The printed directory is current as of the date of publication. Kaiser Permanente is not responsible for use of outdated directories.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.

Information about a practitioner is provided to us by the practitioner or the practitioner's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.

To report any inaccuracies in the directory, contact Member Services. Members may also report inaccuracies at kp.org/memberservices.

Referrals to affiliated/contracted physicians/providers in Denver/Boulder

Affiliated/contracted physicians/providers are not part of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). They are physicians/providers who have a contract with the CPMG.

If your CPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from CPMG, he or she will refer you to an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.

You must have a written referral to the affiliated/contracted physician/provider in order for Kaiser Permanente Colorado to cover the services. A referral is a written authorization from Kaiser Permanente for you to receive a covered service from an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
