Where I practice
I grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and eventually made my way to Colorado to escape the harsh Midwestern winters. Ever since I was a child, I planned on becoming a physician - I have always loved science and also felt a strong need to help others. After my training, I moved to Colorado and was in private practice for about 5.5 years. I have had the pleasure of serving Kaiser Permanente members since April of 2016. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that both Colorado and Kaiser Permanente have given to me which allow me to live this wonderful life.
About my practice
I love being an Ob/Gyn because it enables me to help women in so many different areas of their lives. Whether I am assisting patients in delivering their children, helping them deal with menopausal issues or discussing contraception so they can best plan their future, being an Ob/Gyn allows me to help people live the best lives they can imagine. I consider it the best job in the world!
How I thrive
When I am not working, I love staying active and Colorado is a great back drop while I do this. I love to hike and snow shoe. I do like to strap on my snow board during the winter months and I’m hoping that one of these days I will master the skill. I also love to travel and am always looking to put another stamp on my passport. I have been fortunate enough to combine my love for travel with my desire to practice medicine, and I have gone on several surgical mission trips to both Guatemala and the Philippines over the last few years. And even though I love Colorado, I was born and raised a cheesehead, so a bigger Packers fan you will not find. Go Pack Go!
