Where I practice
I grew up in Denver and attended college and medical school on the East Coast. My husband and I returned to Denver in 2000 when I started my pediatrics training at The Children's Hospital Colorado. After a brief stint in Northern California, I was delighted to return to Colorado and start working at the Brighton Medical Office of Kaiser Permanente in 2011. It has been great working in this community and I am so happy to be back living in my home state.
About my practice
I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care. I think of myself as a partner with parents in working towards giving their children every healthy advantage we can. I like to be a resource and a guide for parents as they navigate the path of parenthood. I truly enjoy interacting with my patients – from babies to teens- each day. I feel honored to be part of the team making sure they can be the healthiest kids they can be. It is so fun to meet a family with a newborn infant and then watch that baby grow and develop. I am so lucky to get to know my patient’s families so well over time. And I will never get tired of holding babies. I offer my patients convenience and can answer their questions by email, phone, video visit or Chat with a Doc.
How I thrive
My family loves to spend time together outside, especially hiking and skiing in the mountains. Being a mom of two busy kids takes up most of my time away from the clinic – volunteering at their schools, soccer carpools, and the general business of family life. When I do find those rare quiet moments, I enjoy a good book or a walk with our dog. I also like sewing and cooking. Exercise is very important to me, over the past few years I have taken up running and yoga.
