Where I practice
I grew up in Las Vegas, and then spent 8 years in Texas for college and medical school before settling in Denver almost 10 years ago. Like many Coloradans, I was drawn to the mountains and the endless opportunities for year-round outdoor adventure. My family couldn’t be happier to call Colorado home. From an early age, I knew I wanted to be a physician and have the career-long privilege of using my knowledge and skills to help both the sick and healthy.
About my practice
I chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology because it allows me the opportunity to build a relationship with a patient throughout the span of her life. From helping with family planning or infertility, to caring for a pregnancy, to navigating the changes of menopause, it is rewarding to be a part of each phase of a woman’s life. I strive to take time to listen to my patient’s concerns and make sure she has an active role in her treatment decision process. I stay as updated as possible on new literature and findings within the field of ob-gyn so I can provide evidence-based treatment options to my patients. I can answer some of my patients’ questions by email, phone or video visit for added convenience. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care.
How I thrive
My family, friends and the outdoors help keep my life in balance. I enjoy participating in long-distance triathlons including Half Ironman and Ironman distances, as well as trail running, skiing and hiking. Our family especially enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Day to day, simply raising a young family keeps me busy and happy!
