About me
I grew up in New York’s Hudson Valley before attending The Pennsylvania State University, where I studied biochemistry, molecular biology and economics. I graduated with honors and then moved to Chicago to attend Northwestern University Medical School. I graduated with membership in AOA, the medical honor society. I was drawn to plastic surgery by the artistry and the technical nature of the surgery. It reminded me of painting or sculpting, passions of mine growing up. I spent one vigorous year of training at Loyola University Medical Center with a focus on plastic surgery, trauma and burn surgery. I then completed my plastic surgery training at Stanford University. I founded my own plastic surgery practice in San Francisco prior to joining Kaiser Permanente. I am happy to return to Denver where my family has roots. I am a diplomat of The American Board of Plastic Surgery, the highest level of certification for plastic surgery. I was honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2018.
About my practice
My practice includes cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and body. The relationship between the patient and surgeon forms the basis for navigating the process. To strengthen this relationship I have developed several founding principles. 1. Every surgery, whether aesthetic or reconstructive, deserves the same artistic attention. 2. Patient trust is earned by thorough education, honesty and integrity. 3. Each patient's unique desires shall be addressed with empathy and sensitivity to privacy and individuality. 4. Sound surgical judgment based on science, safety and evidence is critical. 5. Absolute precision and meticulous technique shall be applied to every surgery.
How I thrive
I thrive by making time for my family and the wonders Colorado has to offer. I also enjoy challenging myself while driving on the race track. Finally, I love music and at one point in my life was a DJ.

Kaiser Permanente considers the following factors as it builds and maintains provider networks:
- Size and demographics of the population to be served
- The inventory of provider and facility types required to serve the population
- Practitioner-to-member ratios and geographic access standards
- Application of credentialing criteria encompassing but not limited to educational training, licensing, professional experience, board certification, and professional references
You may select a primary care provider (PCP) from family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine. When possible, we encourage you to choose a PCP whose office is in a Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Building. You may have a higher copayment and/or coinsurance with certain PCP providers. Please refer to your “Schedule of Benefits (Who Pays What)” for additional details. Use the Provider Affiliation dropdown to sort to Kaiser Permanente providers.
An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.
