About me

After a nomadic childhood, my family and I landed in San Francisco, California, where I met my beautiful wife. I earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and worked in business for a few years. Somehow, I got interested in medicine along the way and decided to go for it. Along this journey, I was commissioned as a U.S. Naval medical officer and did my tour at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia. I had the pleasure of working with men and women in uniform, as well as all the people who supported us in the background. Adding to the excitement of life, we have two adorable kids.

About my practice

I believe in medical care as teamwork. The better we work together, the better the outcome. I practice full-scope family medicine. I enjoy seeing different patients and cases daily. That is what brought me to family medicine in the first place.

How I thrive

The simple things in life keep me grounded – family, friends and a good laugh. Staying active and enjoying what life has to offer has definitely helped my family and I thrive. Feeling very fortunate and still wanting to remain part of the military family, I am currently in the reserves and enjoying beautiful Colorado.

Referrals to affiliated/contracted physicians/providers in Denver/Boulder

Affiliated/contracted physicians/providers are not part of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). They are physicians/providers who have a contract with the CPMG.

If your CPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from CPMG, he or she will refer you to an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.

You must have a written referral to the affiliated/contracted physician/provider in order for Kaiser Permanente Colorado to cover the services. A referral is a written authorization from Kaiser Permanente for you to receive a covered service from an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
