Kaiser Permanente provider
My gender: Male
Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I grew up in North Dakota and my family lives throughout the Midwest, but my medical training has taken me throughout the country. I completed medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. I then moved to Chicago to complete urologic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center. After that, I completed fellowship training in laparoscopy/endourology at the University of California San Francisco. Growing up, I spent a lot of time in Colorado and am ecstatic to have an opportunity to live and work here.
I practice general urology and enjoy treating and learning about a wide variety of urologic issues. My main area of clinical interest is the management and prevention of complex and recurrent kidney stones. Surgically, I have specialized training in minimally invasive urologic surgery for problems involving the kidney (stones, tumors, obstruction, cysts), ureter (stones, obstruction), bladder, and prostate (enlarged prostate, difficult urination). I strive to achieve "Cura Personalis," a Latin phrase that translates to "care for the entire person." In doing so, I seek to provide individualized attention to the unique needs of my patients, with respect for his or her individual circumstances and concerns.
I enjoy playing and watching sports, especially baseball and basketball. I also love spending time outdoors hiking, camping and fishing, and traveling with my wife and daughter.
