About me

I grew up in Krakow, Poland, but I consider Colorado home now. My wife, our three daughters and I are enjoying living in Colorado, which we find to be a wonderful place to thrive. Working at Kaiser Permanente allows me to grow as a person and physician. Medicine attracted me as a field where science meets human experience. The human experience is a factor which makes medicine so fascinating to me and drives me to strive to be the best physician I can be. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I was on the faculty of the Cardiology department at Saint Louis University in Missouri. I hold specialty certifications in cardiovascular medicine, as well as in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation.

About my practice

I first was attracted to cardiovascular medicine while learning physiology in my second year of medical school. This fascination with a beating heart has never left me, even after many years.

How I thrive

I enjoy spending time with my family and in the outdoors. Walking our dogs with my wife or watching our daughters’ favorite shows allows me to reconnect with my family after spending time at work. Listening to my wife practicing Bach’s cello suites or her performances gives me great joy. I love movies and engaging books. Being close to nature as I hike, bike or ski is a way that I recharge my emotional and physical energy. I spent several years as a volunteer ski patroller and ski instructor. I find traveling a great way to learn more about the world, people and myself.

Information in this online directory is updated periodically and applies to commercial plans underwritten by Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Colorado. The availability of physicians, hospitals, providers, and services may change. To verify whether a provider accepts Kaiser Permanente plans, contact the provider directly. Current provider information is available at kp.org/locations. This information is updated within 72 business hours of receipt from providers. Kaiser Permanente of Colorado attempts to ensure the online directory contains up-to-date information. Kaiser Permanente uses the same quality, member experience, or cost-related measures to select practitioners and facilities in Marketplace Silver-tier plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business. The measures may include, but are not limited to, HEDIS/CAHPS performance, member/patient complaints, patient safety scores, hospital quality measures, and geographic need. Members enrolled in KFHP Marketplace plans have access to all professional, institutional and ancillary health care providers who participate in KFHP plans' contracted provider network, in accordance with the terms of the members' KFHP plan of coverage. All Kaiser Permanente Medical Group physicians and network physicians are subject to the same quality review processes and certifications.

Kaiser Permanente uses the same geographic distribution consideration to select hospitals in Marketplace plans as it does for all other Kaiser Foundation Health Plan (KFHP) products and lines of business.

Information about a practitioner is provided to us by the practitioner or the practitioner's network, or is obtained as part of the credentialing process. An authorization or referral may be required to access some providers in this directory. If you have questions, contact Member Services.

Referrals to affiliated/contracted physicians/providers in Denver/Boulder

Affiliated/contracted physicians/providers are not part of the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG). They are physicians/providers who have a contract with the CPMG.

If your CPMG physician decides that you require covered services not available internally from CPMG, he or she will refer you to an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.

You must have a written referral to the affiliated/contracted physician/provider in order for Kaiser Permanente Colorado to cover the services. A referral is a written authorization from Kaiser Permanente for you to receive a covered service from an affiliated/contracted physician/provider.
