Kaiser Permanente provider
My gender: Male
Yes, my office is accepting new patients. May require referral.
I have chosen to work in family medicine as it allows me to see patients of all ages for various acute and chronic conditions. In addition to working in family medicine, my background includes past work specializing in infectious disease care, as well as providing specialized care to the LGBT population. Additionally, as a veteran, I have interest in and an understanding of the unique healthcare issues affecting the veteran population. I am available to see patients of all ages, including our pediatric and senior population. I am available to perform a variety of procedures including dermatologic procedures, joint and trigger point injections, and contraceptive implants. I believe that it is essential that patient care be a collaborative effort between the patient and provider to best attain the information needed to properly diagnose and treat medical conditions. I believe that treatment provided should be in accordance with evidence-based standards to maximize the potential for healing while minimizing risk. I believe that regular preventative visits are essential in reducing a patient’s risk of developing chronic medical conditions.
Having been born and raised in the mountains of Northern California, the outdoors continues to be an essential part of my life. Living in the Denver area has allowed me to pursue involvement in activities that are essential for me to maintain a balance of body and spirit. I spend most of my weekends hiking, backpacking, or camping in the summer and snowboarding or skiing in the winter. Additionally, I have 2 dogs, a French Bulldog and an English Bulldog, that make sure to keep me busy.
