When test results become available, an email message is sent to your regular email account or that of the person you care for. Choose the link in the email or sign on to kp.org. On kp.org, the unviewed test results will be in bold. If you have permission to view a Kaiser Permanente member’s test results, you can view that person’s results by choosing his or her name.
Help with test results
You’ll see information about tests performed at a Kaiser Permanente facility, including:
- The name of the health professional who authorized the test
- The name of the test
- The type of sample taken
- The date the sample was collected
- The date the tests were available
- The components of the test
- Additional notes from the health professional
Depending on the kind of test, you’ll get links that lead to in-depth information about this type of test or to a page with detailed information about the test procedure.
Not all test results are available online. In addition, results are not available if the lab is still working on the test. We’ll send an email when new test results become available online.
Have questions? Call the practitioner or facility where the test was taken. See our facility directory for information about departments and phone numbers.
While viewing details about a test result, choose the print icon. You can then user your browser’s Print button to print the page.
