About me
Welcome to my Web page and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my practice. I am thrilled to be a part of the Kaiser Permanente family, and I look forward to getting to know you.
Biography
I am originally from New York, but discovered that I was a Californian at heart when I attended college at UC Berkeley in beautiful Northern California. I studied psychology with an interest in neurobiology. I did move back to New York briefly to earn my medical degree at New York Medical College but quickly returned to Los Angeles for my internal medicine internship and residency at various hospital settings associated with UCLA including Olive View Medical Center, the Veterans Association and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Finally, I completed my combined pulmonary and critical care fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. My family and I have settled here in Orange County in the hopes of providing for our children a wonderful place to grow and enjoy the Southern California weather.
About my practice
I am board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine. In my practice, I specialize in diseases of the lungs, and help patients with respiratory problems such as COPD, asthma, interstial lung disease, and lung cancer. I perform various procedures such as bronchoscopies, thoracentesis, and chest tube Insertions to both diagnose and treat pulmonary problems. I also take care of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit for one week every month, where I manage acute issues such as septic shock, acute respiratory failure requiring ventilators, acute coronary syndromes, and neurologic emergencies. I am honored and feel privileged to care for you during such challenging situations, and strive every day to provide excellent care.
How I thrive
I strive my very best to strike a balance between my challenging and fulfilling career, the growing needs of my beautiful family who I am blessed to have, and staying fit, active and healthy. I love running in the trails by my home, staying fit with Pilates and yoga, and enjoying tennis, golf, and skiing with my husband.
