Where I practice
Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I look forward to working with you to care for your family’s health.
I was born in San Francisco and spent most of my life there. I came to Los Angeles to do my pediatric surgery fellowship, and my wife and I fell in love with the area. We love all the cultural activities Los Angeles has to offer, and we especially love the weather. I decided on pediatric surgery as a career for three main reasons—I could help instill healthy habits for a lifetime, I could interact with medical specialties, and I could see a wide variety of members and treatable diseases.
About my practice
The pediatric surgery team I’m a part of includes pediatric surgeons, nurses, residents, anesthesiologists, pediatricians, and other specialists—all with the common goal of getting a child healthy. A pediatric general surgeon operates on many areas of the body, including the extremities, chest, abdomen, head, and neck. My particular areas of interest include tumors, chest wall deformities, anorectal malformations, vascular anomalies, and minimally invasive surgery.
How I thrive
My family and I emphasize eating healthy, having fun, and exercising every day. Our activities include walking, running, playing tennis, skiing, and biking. I try to run the Los Angeles Marathon every year, and I hope to participate in some triathlons this year. I also love to coach my children’s soccer teams.
