About me

Hello, my name is Rocio Perez and I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself. Choosing a pediatrician can be an overwhelming task for parents. I hope that getting to know a little about us as individuals will be of help to you.

Biography

I grew up in a large family with my parents, four brothers, and one sister in Baldwin Park. I remember from a young age being drawn to medicine. I loved the idea of helping someone feel better, so I embarked on my journey to become a doctor. I attended college at UC Riverside and later attended medical school at The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I then completed my pediatric residency training at USC in 2003 and now have the privilege of helping kids feel better!

About my practice

I work with an outstanding group of doctors and nurses at the Kaiser Permanente Cudahy Medical Offices. My practice includes both general pediatric medicine and hospital duty. I feel it is very important to educate members at every visit. Knowledge truly does make a difference in the care of patients.

How I thrive

It is sometimes hard to slow down and take care of ourselves. I think it is important to take even the shortest moments throughout the day to relax and remember to breathe. In my free time I love to spend time with family and friends, cook and travel.
