About me
Hello, and welcome to My Web Page. I am board certified in both pediatric anesthesiology and general anesthesiology. I enjoy working with children, partly because I am a big kid at heart but also fortunate to work with adults, which keeps my practice very balanced. I absolutely love doing what I do each and every day.
Biography
I have been living in Southern California for over 30 years. Before that, I lived in Florida for six years. In addition to English, I am fluent in Spanish and Farsi (Persian) and can understand some French and Italian. I have always been fascinated by medicine. After my freshman year in high school, I took part in a Summer Youth Program at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills. While in the program, I decided I wanted to become a doctor. So here I am, part of the Kaiser Permanente family, living the dream!
About my practice
I believe every Kaiser Permanente member is unique and each medical situation should be assessed individually. It is especially important to me that my patients are safe and comfortable under my care. I really feel honored to be working with an outstanding team of physicians and staff who are so dedicated to patient care.
How I thrive
I thrive by doing the things that make me happy. I couldn't imagine my life without sports, travel, cultural experiences, great friends, and my incredible family. I enjoy golfing, snowboarding, cycling, playing basketball, and attending USC football games. I am particularly good at predicting the weather and random trivia. I meditate and practice yoga as much as possible. I am also an aspiring photographer. I believe in helping those who are less fortunate, so I volunteer a tremendous amount for several local non-profit organizations such as Access OC and Special Olympics Southern California. I really strive to live my life fully each and every single day.
