Where I practice
Hello, and welcome. I am a general surgeon, and I enjoy getting to know my members. I usually work at the Irvine Medical Center, but on occasion I travel to the Anaheim Medical Center.
I have 2 very independent daughters. We go visit my cousins in Guatemala once a year.
About my practice
Like most surgeons, I enjoy fixing things. As a consulting physician, I help determine whether or not people require surgery. Many times, members are referred for problems that turn out not to require surgery at all. We have a very team-oriented practice. Everyone on our staff is eager to provide high-quality care for our members. We perform surgical procedures ranging from minor in-office skin surgeries to complex major surgery performed at one of several Kaiser Permanente locations in Orange County.
How I thrive
I have started hiking some of the local mountains of Southern California and have seen some spectacular scenery I never got to appreciate when my kids were young. This year, we hiked Death Valley, Yosemite, and several of the local peaks, as well as Sedona in Arizona. We enjoy snowboarding and skiing, rollerblading, cycling, lifting weights, and going to hot yoga classes. I thank God for our many blessings. I try to find joy and laugh every day.
